"You guys. This is awesome! This is that Valentine's thing, but this curse is way better than the stuff they've had since I've been here. There's all this water around, and I dunno where this boat came from, but I can steer it and stuff." The camera angle goes wonky as he sets the device down. He is now going in circles on the boat- however, there is a decided lack of paddle of any sort. As he speaks, you can see him pull his sitar on his lap, as he is now sitting on the other end, and as he strums, the boat starts to spin the other way. He grins.

"Anyone need a lift?"

Demyx is near the fountain, grinning as the music is blaring overhead.

"You know, I thought this was pretty annoying at first, but it's not so bad." More importantly, he has his sitar out, and he is playing. If you're listening, though most of you might be trying to avoid that, he is playing with the song. Sometimes the bass line, sometimes the melody, and sometimes something that he's making up that fits it.

"Is anyone actually getting happy from this?" The video goes on for a while longer, before he speaks again.

"Oh! By the way, is there anyone out there that could help me learn to cook? And maybe someone else, too, depending."

When he speaks, it is with a very different accent that people who know him are used to; i.e. an upperclass British one.] I say! This is quite the fascinating thing, isn't it? But I daresay that I've lost my way. Could any of you be so helpful as to aid me in finding my rightful place? [More inspection of the device, accompanied by looking around him.]

[Like has happened once before, his voice no longer has any tone, and is flat, and sounds like everything he says is a statement.] It's colder out, isn't it? I still don't think that I understand what's going on. I can't figure out what sort of curse this is, but I do know that the people were not all like this before.

It opens up with how most people know Demyx, when he walks the street, hood up. Except it's a little different than normal. Instead of just the usual black coat, it appears to be shining rather unnaturally. "I don't think I can get it to stop. It still shines through." He flips it down, revealing that it's shining directly from his skin, which looks a little paler?

"Also, there's a couple of people that used to be here that are back. I don't think that they remember anything, though." A pause, and you can see that he is thinking hard, before "Uh, Superior. Are you gonna be in the apartment in an hour?"

Okay, so at first it was weird, and too loud. [BZZRRZZZ] But after a while I kinda got used to it. The only problem was that it had no beat to it, y'know? [BZZRZRZRZRZRRZZZ] So I got an idea! I just played along with it. It's a nice base note sorta thing, I've been working off of it ever since. The first image you get is the lower half of a body, silvery blue, and with a long, arching dorsal fin on the back. As it pans out, you can see Demyx. But even his upper half looks a bit different. His hair is a little more pointy and fin-like, and although it should be obvious that he no longer wears his coat under water, it is very strange to see him without it or his gloves. But as he focuses the camera, he grins.

"How great is this? I can breathe underwater! And I'm surrounded by it! And I'm not the only one. I know this is called a curse, but this isn't bad at all." He looks around. "I don't know if I can summon my sitar or not, I haven't tried. I wonder if my magic is stronger down here. Imagine the clones I could make out of all of this." As he spaces out for a moment, something suddenly seems to occur.

"Hey, speaking of water, how is this thing working? Isn't it not supposed to wor-" Kssssssssssshhhh-

Man, I still don't really know who that Ino kid is, but at least no one bought me last weekend. That woulda been weird. According to Euphem- Euphie, it would've meant going on a date. I definitely didn't wanna do that.

Oh, and, uh, because this guy said I should. [the rustling of paper can be heard, and then a throat clear]

Equivalence is based on an equal exchange. But an equal exchange should have all the rules laid out, so what we're supposed to be writing about isn't fair if we don't have all the rules. We're supposed to get off of one curse for writing this, but equivalence hasn't been reached. If the equivalence of the equivalence essay isn't there, then is there really equivalence to be written about? I proclaim that there isn't, unless it's fair, and we get all the rules, and then we can have equivalence.

Oh man, has it been really great lately, or is it just me?

It starts out with Demyx in front of the camera, hood up, perhaps a little more jittery than he usually is. "So, uh, I'm not quite sure what this curse is, but I'm definitely affected. I've had my hood up, and I can still talk, and, um, well, things are sorta blurry and I can really only see light and dark spots. Here's why." He lowers his hood past his hair, and- nothing. His face has no features, it is just muscle and skin stretched over skull.

When he next speaks, it is more off-putting, due to the lack of mouth, yet he is still perfectly able to speak like he always is. Well, perhaps a little more- muffled. "So, I really hope that this is going to end by midnight."
