So, it was really weird. There was this guy that came in with a camera and said he had a couple of questions to ask me. Then he started talking to me about my sitar and Time Bomb and the City and stuff. It was pretty neat! So I was asking him if he's seen us in concert or if he played anything and where he was from and stuff like that. After about five minutes he left. I dunno why, he was pretty cool, though.

Anyway, what's up with these clone things? The only clones I've ever had is my water, and I wanna keep it that way.

Stand back, Curt, because out of nowhere there is a whooshing sound and a portal of darkness appears. It is only a moment before there is a somewhat familiar figure in a familiar looking coat, but with the hood up. He steps out of the swirling purple and black, and looks around for Curt.

What the fuck?!

[That was not the entrance Curt was expecting. Clearly Demyx's cult consorts with the powers of darkness. And is good at it. Curt gapes.]

He flips his hood down, grinning.

"Hey, Curt!" Curt isn't looking like his usual relaxed self. It's possibly because of the clone thing, but also possibly because of Demyx suddenly appearing. It's not unusual that he gets an odd reaction, but this is far from the worst reaction he's gotten. And anyway, he's started warning people now.

"Your clone's gone, right?"

"Uh...oh, yeah. I went out with Stephen and it was gone by the time I got back."

Curt blinks a few times, and once over his initial shock, he's mostly just curious.

"How'd you do that?"

"Oh. Good. Is his gone also? It sounded pretty crazy." Not that he was there, or heard him much. Just based on what Stephen had said. He looks around the rest of the room, smiling a little when he comes across music paraphernalia. His gaze jolts back to Curt when he's asked a question.

"What, getting here?" His head tilts, and his tone is dismissive, like it's not any big deal. "That's just a portal." Like it's a normal occurrence.

"Huh. I've never seen anything like that before. Pretty dramatic."

He considers suggesting Demyx always arrive on stage like that, but that would draw attention away from where it belongs, i.e. on Curt.

"Anyway, I think Stephen got rid of his somehow. I haven't heard any more complaints or pleas for Campbell's help from his end."

"Really? Dramatic?" He makes a confused, scrunched-up face. Needless to say, it looks ridiculous, until it relaxes into a curious one.

"Yeah, I haven't heard any either. I guess since Campbell usually helps him out before shows that he'd be good with the clone, too."

"I'm not sure how well Campbell's 'help' would apply to a variety of situations, but at least he usually manages to keep a positive attitude. Stephen was probably freaking out almost as bad as the clone was."

Curt looks thoughtful for a second, then it passes. The crises is over--there's no reason to think about what it all means.

"Speaking of which, what's this about water clones."

"Yeah. He does. And I dunno, he sounded pretty freaked out when I was talking to him, but he made it sound like his clone was worse." Campbell is usually cheery, but he's seen him be pretty apathetic too. He thinks about this, until Curt reminds him why he was here.

"Oh, yeah!"

He stands up, closes his eyes in concentration- not that he needed to, but it helped- and when he opens them, he raises his arm up straight into the air. This would be all show, and completely irrelevant, except for the fact that thousands of water molecules are joining together, to form droplets, and those drops are coming together right above Demyx's hand, in the shape of a bubble.

And then it pops.

Most bubbles do not have sitars in them, but this one appears to be unique. The familiar instrument falls out, Demyx gripping the neck, and swinging it around. He can hardly ever help exclaiming his excitement when he does this.

"Alright!"

"Huh. Well, that seems pretty handy."

Curt continues staring, but honestly after arrival by portal his threshold for shock and awe is set pretty high.

"Have you always been able to do that stuff?"

He pouts in confusion, that wasn't even what he'd come over to show him, for a moment, and then thinks about that question carefully. Well, he'd definitely been able to do it since becoming a Nobody, and he can't remember himself ever doing it earlier than that.

"Well, not always. I mean, I've played the sitar since I can remember, but the portals and stuff is newer, I'm pretty sure."

Demyx doesn't actually make a very convincing Dark Wizard, but that seems to be vaguely close to the actual explanation this time. Though, Curt is pretty sure at this point that Demyx doesn't come with an explanation that actually makes any sense whatsoever.
