Twenty First Clone

The room is filled with faceless people, backs turned to your view. You can still make out that they are laughing, smiling, happy, and having a good time. There is someone in a long, hooded cloak walking around and through the groups. He has a bunch of cue cards in his hands, shuffling through them.

He keeps going up to the groups, trying either to make them notice him (which they don't), or glean information by observation. After a while he seems to get overly flustered and winds up tripping on his own coat, falling, and revealing himself to be Demyx. As he falls, the cue cards scatter, and he tries to gather them up a little before he seems to just stay down on the floor, having lost hope . . . or did he?

[He looks up at that, it takes him a while, it is a dream, after all, but it comes to him.] I- Wait. Carl? What are you-?

What am I what? I'm a bit lost at the moment, actually...

[Carl, it so happens, has figured out that he is dreaming, and has since lost his own dream in the crowd of other dreams going on around the City. He might be lucid, but the mechanics of this curse--because it's certainly a curse--are still baffling him. And darn it, he can't find his nice, quiet dream again.]

This is your dream, is it? It doesn't seem terribly cheery.

[So helpful, Larxene! He winces, more out of habit than actual pain.] Hey. [He stands up. He knows better with her.]

[oh Demyx, you're so well-trained] Hay is for horses. [smirks] And what the hell are you doing?

[Oh, Larxene, why would you ever? He's confused immensely at that phrase now.] What do horses have to do with anything?

And I'm- [He catches himself. Dream this might be, but it's Larxene and that means she's an Organization member and he can't just flat out say it. Plus, she's Larxene.] Well, I don't remember, really.

Demyx! Are ya just going to lay around on that floor all day?

Wha-? [Processing . . . |] Reno? Am I- Oh. No, I guess not. [starts attempting to pick up the cue cards, but due to the oh so helpfulness of dreams, they either appear to be glued down or start fading, he pouts, and then gets up.] Hey.

Uh, well, I don't know about that. [It was a kind of confusing dream, when you thought about it. He stood up and realized that he should probably at least try to explain.]

Although I do know that I was trying to get information on how they were acting and stuff.
